Really slow start up time.

Every time I launch Shogun 2 with Darthmod It takes me 20 mins to go from the splash screen to the menu. This is odd because every other total war game it takes me 45 seconds to load in. I even run Darthmod with the other total war games E.I Napoleon, Empire and Medieval. Hell, when I start a match I get moderate fps maxed out with all the Darthmod settings.

Same thing for me, maybe not minutes but 5 sure!

wow. I run vanilla and it take maybe 3-4 minutes. I haven´t actually counted it it may be less but it´s mysteriously long for just getting to the menues.

20 minutes!? Ok it may take some more time but not so much. I suggest you do this START UP FREEZE OR SEVERE GAME LAG (SOLUTION) and set your Graphics Cards Settings to Default.

I get this problem too, although it may just be Shogun 2 in general.
