Costal defence battle?

Hey, anyone got any footage of the coastal defense battle type for FOTS? 2 campaigns through and still havn't had that type of battle yet.
(keep up blowing up enemy ships before they reach my coasts!"

I've taken some screenshots of a battle where my fleet was attacked near my port and the battle took place right up on the harbor's waterfront on the map, with a few coastal batteries that helped out a bit before being destroyed. The first image isn't great because it was a rainy battle, but you can sort of make out the coastal battery emblems in the background to the left, where they'd been destroyed by the burning ships.

I don't find the coastal batteries to be useful at all other than that the enemy ships seem to ignore my ships to attack the batteries, and the batteries might get a couple of shots in before dying (this does make the enemy tend to bunch up near the shore and be poorly positioned). I've also had a "bug" where reinforcing enemy ships sat at the edge of the map blasting away at a hill (there was a long peninsula with batteries jutting out into the harbor) while I destroyed the main fleet, then being trapped by my fleet, because the coastal batteries were on the other side of the hill and they wanted to shoot them. I always seem to end up with them being behind a small hill that give them almost no field of fire before the enemy ships are under their trajectory for first person fire. They don't seem that accurate either. I've only had them kill an enemy ship once, and that seemed to have been a lucky shot to the middle of the ship where the smokestack was.

Unfortunately these don't come up very often and I don't have very good pictures now that I look at it. I'm honestly not sure if this is the type of battle you're looking for.

Believe it or not I haven't fought one either. I do know coastal defenses are very powerful, though, on the campaign map. I'm pretty sure if you actually wanted to play a coastal defense battle you should just attack, or be attacked, by a fleet next to a port with coastal defenses.

Maybe next campaign with Radious Mod/Darthmod, I will finally SEE this battle type.

They often attacked my ports, sometimes I use my ships to destroy them, but never any coastal battle ;/

I'm playing using the Foreign Invasion mod from Compilations and Overhauls section. It's pretty good but it's way harder at the beginning of the campaign because decent rifle infantry are expensive.

I got one by leaving a gunboat in a trading port. 2 ships attacked so I got to use the gun batteries. But I didn't get it on video.
