Mods dont work

whenever I use a mod put pack file in data folder and create user.script.txt with pack file name the modified.log shows
"sinfonia semplice.pack unknown file
C:\Users\Alasdair\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Shogun2\scripts\user.script.txt user script existing"

can anyone tell me what is going wrong what am I missing?

Make sure to save "user.script.txt" text file in UTF8 encoding, and don't just add .pack file name in the "user.script.txt", but something like this: mod ***.pack;

Did u follow the detailled instructions for Apachi Hair Mod. As I recall, that mod is tricky.
