I am looking forward to new RTW version, and I can see benefits of a MTW version, but as Sertorio said (I think) why not just get RTW perfect?
But if you are sure about second version, then we can start speculating about new Polis

    Wishlist:

    Battle balancing

It has been adressed in several balancing threads. battles are way too fast.
Also i prefer the hoplite animation by signifier over the overhand pike animation.
Units rout to easily. I have been toying with EDU trying to find a good balancing between morale, damage and everything that can affect battles.

    Events

Heg is too good not to adresse the Persian-greek wars and the war of Pelopoenese. Either those events should be scripted or maybe in different sub-campaigns.

    Traits and Retinues

Military careers. From leadership of Enomotiai to Taxeis commander. More immersion to the game.
Athens should have a military naval career as generals served both in land and naval warfare.

    Units

Some refining of units. I have edited my Athenian epilektoi hoplite as spearmen so they could serve in naval armies in pitched battles. cant land an epibatai brigade to fight in a pitched battle against an hoplite phalanx.
Spartan Periokoi are OP. Homoioi and Hippeis have to be the best infantry but why the Periokoi?

    Environments

RS2 Environments of course. Right now they are top.

These are some suggestions i will probably edit this reply as i remember other minor issues.

Heg is a great mod and i just want it to be better, Cheers

I posted this in the MTW thread but this is the right place.

I agree with all the above and I would be really glad with just the battle balancing and the recruitment cost of the units (the finances of the factions in general).

make the Persians stronger....they are way to under powered...and are not the unstoppable monster they really were
