    Default

    Simple, there are no smoke effects, even on my pretty decent graphics card and max settings. the only thing i dont have on max is texture filtering, ssao and hardware shadows

    edit: nvm, i was using untis with airguns -.-.

    ...usually when selecting army. so basicly, i select a army (not all of them, just random ones), the game freezes for about 5 secs, and then crashes with 2 (thats right, 2 error messeges. when i close one the other one appears). u can see my dxdiag in a previus post when i got confused why dont some of my units produce smoke when they fire. however, i think that i might have update my audio card since then. anyway, help?

    also, when i reload my save, the exact same army that crashed my game previus time, it happens again. like the crashing is "burnt" into those armies.

    Since they basicly cover the same issues, I merged them
    Graphics and sound drivers are up to date.
    Have you run Windows Update and installed all software options?
    Have you tried it without the smoke?
    Do you have any mods installed in either ETW or NTW or both?

    i have no issue with smoke effects, they didnt appear becouse units i was looking at used airguns, which dont produce smoke. anyway, i have the balkan mod, which can be found here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=357323

    it does not work for me, so i might as well uninstall it. i will try updating my stuff from windows now, and i will report later.
