How many would have preferred a Medieval III ?

I think the world and wars of ancient Rome are way more interesting than the Medieval period, but that's just me. Plus, Rome was way overdue for a sequel.

Both are overdue for a sequel. I have played Med2 quite a bit recently and it could really use some of the improvements introduced by newer TW games to make that era really enjoyable.

Seeing Rome 2 was the best thing that happened in my life this year

....Do you know what i would choose for the next TW game? NEW WORLD, from 100 A.C (rise of Teotihuacán) to some point at the 1600's (estabilization of the colonies)...It's about time for the Americas...the Old World is getting old!!! (lol)

If they ever make Medieval 3 then I want China on the map so at least I can say that Total War has a game with China or that at least there is a point to play as the Mongols.

my big problem with medieval 2 was that because of the combat animations made it so it took forever to kill the weakest of units (witch shogun 2 fixed).

but the reason i wanted Rome 2 was because Rome 1 had more unit variety, more interesting factions and the fact that i am more interested in Roman history than medieval history.

so it will be awesome to see how CA will improve rome 2 over rome 1.

If they make a Medieval 3 game after Rome 2, make it more like medieval 1 instead of medieval 2 and then add in all of the stuff from the newer Total War games.

of course there most be some new things that improve gameplay like better Ai etc etc etc

After Medieval 3 then I seriously don't know....

No. I tolerate 2 remakes in a row because Shogun 2 had over a decade and Rome (lets face it, the flagship of the series) was just to good not to remake. There are so many time periods to discover, whole culture's they haven't even touched on. No MTW3, not for awhile at least.
