That sounds cool, these units all looked so amazing it would be a shame to not ever see them again.

    Good stuff!

The only two corrections I would suggest are to remove the chest disks (royal insignia!) and replace the splint greaves with horizontally banded greaves instead, like these:

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

So here are the two pics based on what Naddum described on what these units would look like. I am trying to get to work and put these in 3d but I have been so busy plus I have been spending all of my free time playing RII Total War, (Heresy! )

But don't fret I am taking the time to get myself motivated enough to have most of the roster done by December but as the holidays are upon us it is difficult to balance everything, so please take these as a sign of my commitment as well as a small piece of what is to come. Again thank you for your patience and I hope to share something really soon.

Hey Naddum, so would the girdle still exist or just take them off completely?

The Kings and princes would wear them over armour sometimes maybe (seen at Firuzabad a few centuries earlier, and in Sogdian / Xinjiang art on kings and gods as jewellery), but not regular warriors.

Of course, like I have said this mod will never die, I'll just have to "Dominion of the Sword" it. It'll come out when it does, however, I'm looking to get my hard drive extracted by February, things have been going very well at work lately so with the new year may come new surprises.

I just hope he didn't lose all that had been done, that would be a shame.

So will there be a sort of reform in roman units after, roughly, 640AD, if so what sort of differences will occur?
