That guy is the harbinger of doom, largely because in almost every campaign of mine an Otani war declaration usually means Yoshitsugu bringing a mighty stack down on me .

You'll understand why he is such a badass, play a custom battle, pick the general as "Otani Yoshitsugu" then look at his helmet.

Damn! Just when you finally have an exciting battle, against Kagekatsu himself, the video is over.

Beware though, Kagekatsu might be the overlord of Naoe Kanetsugu, but he is MOAR powerful, you'll meet him the moment you've taken Fukushima, they are the guys with black on red, and their daimyo, Kanetsugu has a helmet with the kanji symbol of "LOVE" in it.

He was always at Masamune's side.

But more importantly. It appears that the green faction that neighbors you and is now a hegemon is Otani. ...............or that could be Asano, they seem to have to have the same colors. Otani has 2 butterflies and Asano has 2 feathers on mons.. But I guess you'll meet them soon enough.

dang. though, Naoe Kanetsugu died before you ever met him.

I have been enjoying PM's vids and have been glued watching Sengoku Basara. I thought it was familiar when I remembered a game it was based on. My worry is that peeps may take it as historical fact

Dual horse mounting and energy-efficient naval fortresses? I'd advise history to take a lesson, but then again, I don't think The Last Party represented the second largest army at Sekigahara; a shameful display.

Aww shucks pointman, I'm touched. Not to mention this lets play is turning out to be really exciting, I never anticipated you warring with Honda, I guess your too keen on allying with Otani, and make a brofist and conquer Japan together.

Then find to your horror, you cant brofist him coz he is a leper.

(And why is always when the episode is about to end, a big battle is just inevitable. An epic one. Last time, it was Masamune vs Uesugi Kagekatsu now is adoptive son of Masamune vs Honda Tadakatsu. Well at least that makes this lets play outshine the rest.)

You will wage war against Otani after defeating the red guys Mogami and taking Honjo at Sado Island? Oh this will be nice. Oh and better act fast, you last saw the huge Otani army, I think its marching to that huge Tokugawa Base at Sagami, with LOTS of building slots.
