    While looking at the descr_strat file i saw this >>>>>>
    ;marian_reforms_disabled <<<<<< is marian supposed to be enable?
    ;rebelling_characters_active
    ;gladiator_uprising_disabled
    night_battles_enabled
    brigand_spawn_value 30
    pirate_spawn_value 40

    Also Snake if your mod uses the four turns per year mod shouldnt recruitment/build time's made to fit the mod?

    It been commented because in RTW (which the mod is base) the marian reform is a hard coded feature. The line comes from BI which have the reform disabled as it's not relevent to the time of the game.

    How do the reforms happen in this mod?

    The reason I ask is because there are a couple of huge cities in italy in my game at the moment but no troop changes.:hmmm:

    Snake does the animation pack that comes with PE 1.6 work with your mod? cause I tried it and all the men were running arouns like roadrunners!

    Game crashes after winter 280 every time.

    I installed a clean version of Rome Total War
    I installed patch 1.2, 1.3, and 1.5
    I installed Platinum edition and then the Platinum update patch
    I installed Faction Mod 2 and Faction Mod 2 update

    After the fourth turn I always get a crash to desktop.

    Help please. I love playing the civil war.

    Make new short cut and add this in target line
    something like this

    "C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW.exe" -show_err

    They find the fault with that

    Hello my friend, how are you?
    Thank you very much for Roman faction Mod 2 for RTRPE! Very very good!
    But I've 2 question:
    1) I can update RTRPE 1.4 directly to RTRPE 1.6 without RTRPE 1.5. Is RTRPE 1.5 necessary? Where I can download it?

    2) Candelarius has made an update: extended mod for RTRPE 1.6 in wich he give us interesting update expecialy in AOR Italian units, and maybe he'll make other updates of it.
    So, a your update of Roman faction Mod is necessary on that candelarius Mod: it will be very very complete and relistic work: RTRPE 1.6 + Candelarius extended Mod + Snake IV RomanFactionMod
    I hopean ask you for this mod update!

    i cant use the custom rtr music it seems (vlad). It cant load the sound data. Could u tell me if you changed something that i should be aware of and tell me how to remedy this so i can hear my sweet sounds.

    i already tried that. As a matter of fact i have it saved on winword to make sure i dont forget about it. Btw, i also have a ctd problem. the 4 turns per year is messing everything up. if i dont press it it works, but if i press the show me how button, it ctd's after i get 2 turns in.

    but as this is the begining im sure it will work out with patches and what not.

    I just want to say congratulations to SnakeIV for this mod - well done and thanks! It is such a good idea - I love the gameplay of RTR PE but I also have a hankering for the Senate missions and civil war. It was inspired to put the two together!

    I also really like your taste in the sub-mods that you've bundled. Truly excellent.

    Finally, the execution of the idea is very impressive. I like the new display and the coloured Roman units are superb. So far everything is working like a charm. I got through 4 Senate missions in a rush just now, but lost a general attacking a tough town and then found out I was -2000 in the red. Time to slow down and take it step by step - this is not vanilla RTW anymore.

    This must have been a lot of work - thanks again!

    Hello Snake IV

    Are you still working on the next update of the mod? I mean, multiple reforms for Romans with named legions and extra units...
    In my opinion Marius Reform should stay in 107 BC as it is now (and as it was historically), but before I'd like to see another reform as in EB (from Camillian to Cornelian roster, using Prometeus early legionaries to upgrade the roman units). If I am not wrong, in EB the first reform is set about on the 210 BC. At last, there should be the Imperial Reform very late in the game.

    Moreover, how about integrating in your mod the new AOR italian units included in the interesting Candelarius Extended Realism Mod?
