This discussion inspired me to put together a publication devoted to making TWC more conducive of non-TW modding initiatives. I think that generating content on TWC about the games whose modders we hope to attract is vitally important to helping support hex's efforts to diversify TWC. Over the years I've seen fledgling publications gain strength and add a strong voice to TWC generated content, and that is what I hope to achieve with this proposed publication. TWC lacks a publication that mainly focuses on Non-TW or non-TWC content, and I am hoping that The Herald will fill that gap. We must focus on getting the word out about non-tw modding/news of Bethesda, Paradox, Slitherine, Sega, Turbine, EA, Bungie, Valve, Blizzard, through reviews, summaries, reports, and hopefully interviews. I'll fully admit that I am not as well versed in non-TW initiatives as I would like to be, so I will have to start doing my own research to cover so many bases!
My hope is that by posting this here, everyone on the site will have an opportunity to be a part of this initiative that had its start in the Curia. In these early stages I'm looking for a few like minded individuals to join me in composing monthly articles focusing on non-tw modding initiatives and non-tw gaming news. I hope that by October we will be ready to publish a first edition in the Thema Devia and continue to gain steam from there!
