ok then, we disagree, i hope you do realise what i am saying here
where i am not speaking about greece/greeks,despite you trying to channel that again through that.
I do hope that you understand the next post , and the 6 point post of mine that i indicate whats
wrong imho, meaning:
that this insult is as severe--actually i find it more severe, cuz its directed towards me--
as probably the ones constructed against truth(constructed may be not a proper term, by in
greek it used for allegations)
and that this is just wrong.
if you stil dont see it this way.
then i hope you will someday...![]()
It already is. You act like it's some hate filled abyss of flamers and trolls. It's not. I've done a lot of debate/discussion on internet forums in my life, and the Pit is by far...by far... the most well behaved place I've ever had the fortune to participate in. (at least among forums that aren't ideologically based)
Probably 95% of my posts are in the Pit, and I visit almost daily when I have access to the innerwebz. Yes, there is a lot of contention, but that is the nature of political discussion. Yes, some posters are abrasive..but so what? The best posters have a little sand. It's a good thing. It challenges the intellect and the wit, which improves the quality of the discussion as long as the weak minded don't melt into a puddle of butthurt.
"Every idea is an incitement. It offers itself for belief and if believed it is acted on unless some other belief outweighs it or some failure of energy stifles the movement at its birth. The only difference between the expression of an opinion and an incitement in the narrower sense is the speaker's enthusiasm for the result. Eloquence may set fire to reason." -Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr.

Haha don't mind xcrops for a minute mate, he's cool. What he really meant was that we have certain softies here that easily get shocked when they see D&D section. And just like RL, this is something they have to learn that people will be blunt, rude and even provocative at times. Only a few bad apples have ruined the reputation of entire section.
Haha yeah. This is more of a guideline imo that members can and do ignore quite frequently. But like xcrops posted above there are far more worse places on net and D&D is a lot tolerable.
In any case if you spent enough time on TWC and have a interest in current affairs or anything political then slowly you will know there are plenty of good posters there who post a lot of informative stuff and eventually we just build a habit of ignoring nonsense and paying attention on the relevant part.![]()

I do somehow feel being ignored here.
If one says: "CD what you are posting isi could live with, but ignoring it without any explanation i do feel
somehow being ignored - been waiting now 2 days for a response (and a dozen of posts inbetween me thinks).

Don't argue with idiots. They only take you down to their level,
to beat you there with experience.

Until truth1337 or any other poster denying the Holocaust can prove themselves to be a latter-day Galileo, I'm happy for their views to be suppressed. After all, if they really do know the truth, then I'm sure they will find a much more appropriate platform than the political debate section of a computer game forum.

Does this mean that Galileo's posts would/should have been deleted here aswell for telling the truth because
Europe and at least the US were thinking different, for being off-topic - unless he could prove himselve to be
himselve?
:note - i'm still not saying the posts should have been kept in thread but only complaining about
"why" they have been deleted.
::edit - btw - appreciate your time of response to my "hey forgot on me?" call +rep

Some posts will divide people by their nature.
For example. "Socialism is the only way to run a modern country."
Others will unify those same people.
For example. "The Holocau$t was invented by Jews and their Lizard minions."
Personally new threads on such things get tiresome, but no reason they can't all be lumped into one ball of anti-Semitic hate thread. Some of the loony threads in the past have been useful, being I didn't know certain members were loony until I read their posts in them.
Dumbpiphany: The realization that the reason the entire conversation has been difficult to follow is that you're talking to an idiot.
My shameful truth.
The Holocaust did happen. We saw the bodys and the evidence. And people admitted to being a part of it.So why are people saying it did not happen?
Is it to hurt people?I think the numbers of people killed can be argued by historians and whatever they calculate should be accepted as they go to college to learn about this stuff.I am happy to believe them.
The only reason people seem to say they think the Holocaust didn't happen or downplay it's significance is because they hate the types of people that suffered because of it. There's no other logical reason.
