    DOB: April 7 1992
    Country of Residence: United Kingdom
    Country of Origin: Greece
    Nationality: Greek
Political Compass Result: Economic Left (-5.12) and Social Libertarian (-5.69)

Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: Left
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc): Social Liberalism and Social Democracy
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political party: None of the parties in the Greek parliament or political scene represent my ideals and as such I currently have no political affiliation.
    Religion: Atheist

Abortion: Against, everyone has the right to live. Unless the mother's health is in danger, in cases of rape or other such circumstances.
War in Iraq: Completely against. The United States have no right to invade other countries and likewise other countries have no right to invade the United States.
    Marijuana: Should not be legalized.
    Firearms: Should not be legalized.
Gay Marriage: I am gay, so obviously I am in favor. The State has no authority to deny two people getting married, if the ceremony is approved by the Church. The State has no authority to deny recognition of such a marriage if it has been conducted properly. The State has no authority to refuse same-sex unions.
    Gay adoption: In favor.
Religion in schools: Religious education should not be a mandatory subject. The nature of the subject itself should be to inform pupils of the various religious practices around the world and NOT about a specific religion (e.g. Orthodox Christianity, Catholicism, etc).
Death penalty: Against, everyone has the right to live. Even people like Osama bin Laden deserve to be tried and suffer for a looong time. Killing them just makes it easy on them.

UN: Needs reform, the Security Council should be abolished and veto power be stripped of the powerful nations.
EU: In favor of cultural and political integration of the European countries with the aim of peace and stability on the European continent.
Eurozone: Completely against. Every nation should have the right to financial sovereignty, something that the Euro strips of the members of the Eurozone, since they are not financially independent by means of their national currency.
Globalization: Undecided. I am a victim of globalization, whether this is a good or a bad thing I do not know yet.
Animal rights: Just because they can't tell you "YOU'RE HURTING ME" doesnt mean they dont feel it. All animals have rights, including the most intelligent ones called HUMANS.
Palestinian problem: Palestine was there before Israel. On the other hand, Israel deserves to exist as well. A Jewish-Palestinian confederation would be the best choice.
Macedonian problem: Reject the use of the name "Republic of Macedonia" for international purposes, it creates simeological confusion, since 'Macedonia' is 500 different things (from ancient Macedonia to a province of Bulgaria). Although the Republic of Macedonia has the right to self-determination, so do the Greek Macedonians. NOT in support of the "Macedonia is Greek" nationalist position.

sorry that I'm stealing most of your template, philly_boy.

    DOB: Aug 18, '95
    Country of Residence: USA
    Country of Origin: USA
    Nationality: Italian
    Political Compass Result: Econ. Left/Right: 5.25, Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.46

Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: Right, slightly Libertarian
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc): conservative
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political party: Republicans, since nobody ever supports a third party
    Religion: Roman Catholic

Abortion: Only if giving birth threatens the life of the woman, or is a result of rape
War in Iraq: neutral at this point
War In Afghanistan: For; It may have happened in Pakistan, but catching and killing that SOB Bin Laden was a result of the war in Afghanistan.
Marijuana: Some people can handle the responsibility, but most people who smoke it can't, so against.
Firearms: Yes, but with restrictions, registration, etc.
Gay Marriage: I'm a "dislike the act but not the person" type, but against nonetheless. I'd prefer that it stayed "in the closet," or at the very least, in avoidance of "public displays of affection"
    Gay adoption: against
Religion in schools: against, except in Catholic schools, Lutheran Schools, etc.
Death penalty: Only for very serious crimes

UN: Wait, you mean that thing that props up leftist dictators in Africa? Mommy, you told me that was just a made up monster... MOMMY!
    EU: Meh. Neutral.
Globalization: For, but people should limit how much it affects themselves on a personal level.
    Human Rights: For.
    Animal rights: Ha...Haha...hahahaha!
Palestinian problem: Jerusalem was built by Jews, along with the area around it. I think that the Palestinians, along with people of other ethnicities and religions should have a right to visit and live there, but the Jews should have first dibs on the Israeli-Palestinian portion of the Levant.
"Turkish" City names: Go with the old Byzantine (technically E. Roman) names, i.e. Istanbul is Constantinople, Trabzon is Trebizond, Konya is Iconium, Kayseri is Caesarea, Erzurum is Theodosiopolis, etc. And Turkey, get the hell out of Cyprus, please.

    Centre
Do you identify yourself with a certain political grouping: No.
Do you identify yourself with a certain political party: No.
    Religion: Islam.

    Abortion: Depends on the circumstances.
    War in Iraq: For.
    Marijuana: Legal.
Firearms: Regulated and Legal for small arms, not for things like RPGs.
Gay Marriage: For Civil Union/Equal Rights.
    Gay adoption: Undecided.
Religion in schools: The major religions should be taught, equally.
    Death penalty: Against.

Palestinian problem: The two-state solution is a horrible idea, it is not viable, either for Israel or Palestine. The best situation would be for the PNA to merge into the State of Israel, which should have equal rights for Jews and Arabs.
Kashmir situation: Kashmir's fate should be decided by the people of occupied Kashmir; Chinese, Pakistani and Indian.

    Country of Residence: USA
    Nationality: American
    Political Compass Result: Economic Left/Right: -3.50 - Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.85

Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: Center-left
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc): Moderate liberal
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political party: Preferably none, but Democrats for electoral purposes. I happen to be opposed to the whole party system thing.
    Religion: Atheist

    Abortion: Legal
War in Iraq: Bad idea, if only because it was at the same time as Afghanistan.
War in Afghanistan: Yes, and stay there until the job's done. bin Laden's dead, and to quote the Economist: "Now, kill his dream."
    Marijuana: Ban.
Firearms: Military and law-enforcement use only.
    Gay Marriage: Yes.
Gay adoption: No. Imagine how bad that could be for the kid. I don't mean "(s)he'll be gay because the parents are," I mean the child should have a female mother and male father because the fact is that's the way it's supposed to be (i.e. nature, except that weird case where two male penguins in a zoo got together for just two mating seasons).
Religion in schools: Teach religions as something to be studied, as cultural topics, not as truth. "under God" should not be in the pledge of allegiance. "In God We Trust" is perfectly fine on money since the Federal Reserve isn't a government agency and therefore is not bound by the 1st Amendment. I should probably mention that I do not in any way oppose private Catholic/Jewish/Muslim/etc schools, because if you believe in your religion and want a religious education, you have the right to get it. It's public schools that shouldn't teach creationism and such, since they're almost entirely run on government money.
Death penalty: Reserved for cases of 1st/2nd degree murder, multiple murders, hate crimes, assassination (goes under murder), and aggravated rape. Only with indisputable evidence.

UN: Support. Security Council needs reform though.
EU: Unfortunately I've never been to Europe, so I don't have an informed opinion.
Globalization: People say this is effecting them on a personal level, but all I see is gas prices changing based on what happens in the Middle East. So I don't really care. In the end though, I hope globalization serves the greater part of humanity instead of exploiting the planet.
    Human Rights: Definitely.
Palestinian conflict: Two state solution. Because one secular state is unfeasible.

While virtually every revolution for peace and justice has been made possible by a group of people who chose to bear witness and demanded that others bear witness as well." ~ Melanie Joy
