    Default Prometheus's TWC RTWII new Badges WIP

    Here are a series of new Badges in the work for a Competition for Badges for upcoming new site icon theme restyle .

    I have added on the right side a Compressed Format in reduced size so perhaps the number of badges could be even increased ... compare yourself the sizes ...

    the Lossless compression saves a 12% for each badge with an average weight of 15 kb vs previous 20 .

    It coudl be brought further involving some losswith compression but woudl result in a small quality deterioration of the image ...

    Original 25 kb Compressed ( Lossless ) 15-20 kb Optimized ( Losswith ) 7-9 kb

    Just a note that new badges will incorporate the TWC logo of an eagle atop the body of the badge. There are some test examples somewhere (some posted in Hex, with the originals probably in the content forums). The constants are the TWC logo plus images of Calvin for content directors and Hobbes for content staff.

    Just so you know Pann there are eagles in the background of the staff badges above, though not for the others, though I'd forgotten about Calvin and Hobbes (thanks for that). @Prometheus if you don't know who Calvin and Hobbes are then you can either look at the existing badges for content or a simple google search for them.

    I think they will dress the old TWC up nicely and give her that much needed facelift for the upcoming release. There's one small note I would like to make and perhaps it is nothing as my eyes are poor even with glasses, but I do find that the word administrator is difficult to read on the Hexagon Council Administrator badge. The darkened lower edge of the banner causes a bit of a muddled look to the word. Or it might just be me.

    Thanks for your comment , I think you may be right , Altough it is readeable , it is not perfectly clear , I think this is because the Administrator word borders the darker lower border of the Scroll , I can easily fix that simply rising the Word upper and eventually Increase the brightness of the color .

    You did do them already, but they require different pictures-Calvin for the Content Director badge, and Hobbes for the Content Staff Badge. You can see the existing badges for those ranks here.

    Sorry but I still do not understand , in the link you posted I see the two badges and I did the two badges , or you mean that they need at force to have the cartoonish toons? Doesn't make much sense to me to breack the cntinuity of the look ...

    They need to have the cartoons, it is not negotiable and never has been since Calvin (the TWC member) died a few years ago.

    I doubt it to be honest, TWR2 won't be out for ages and we shouldn't put new badges in long before the new game comes out.
