-You are not allowed to sally out if you are defeated. Reload until you get a draw or a victory, or do not sally at all. This is to allow besieging armies the option to sack / exterminate a city.

And i kinda need to sack, need money for this massive war -.-
Not to mention public order troubles if i dont

Use add_population Settlement -1234 to reduce the population that sacking would have killed and it'll fix your problem, combined with adding the money sacking would have gave, would be the same thing as actually sacking it.

And it is that, public order (aside from serious losses from his sally/loss of general) whom concerns me

I took a look at the results if you sacked and it would kill off 3000 people and give you 15000 florins. I will gift that to you on your turn.

I could take away the population now but I would have to add the money on your turn anyways so I'll just do them both at once when it's your turn.

I checked the public order bonus and it would only be 5% for sacking so it's not a huge problem with all your forces. You will receive 2k extra income from just owning the city on the start of your turn though so that should help offset any extra forces you might have to purchase to temporarily quell the extra unrest. On top of not having any buildings downgraded from sacking.

Jado why to add the money on his turn when you can use add_money aztecs, 15000 at any time.....................

The fact that the city has 3000 pop more than it should means at the start of his turn when the New player scroll appears, the garrison pop order bonus will be smaller than it should (between 5-15%) and will also give between something 400 and 800 (I'm guessing here) more florins from increased tax and trade than it should. It wouldn't be a problem unless that smaller garrison bonus is enough to make the settlement revolt that turn and lose population and soldiers, which of course I don't know.

ahh, that's probably why it wasn't working for me on adding money.

i was doing add_money aztecs 15000 without the comma.

It won't really change anything though if I add the money on his turn or now.


As for the 5% fear bonus

I actually loaded up the game and skipped everybodies turn then sacked the city. It had a 5% fear bonus that wasn't there when I loaded up the save Izob posted and skipped to his turn again.

I'll look into the allegation of moved troops tomorrow, but it also might be possible he disbanded the units.

I've done that before when I lost a region to cut down on my upkeep cost. Defeated armies would be a good first thing to disband also because they are pretty much useless for a turn.


We got to stop you from advancing though when you are getting money like that from sacking cities. The only way is to team up against you ;p
