general cant attack

hello i haven't played SS in some time because the Mann vs Machine update, but today i played SS and i got a little issue, my general didn't want to attack. i order him to attack some rebels crossbowmen and him and his body guards just stand there. Some one knows how to fix this??

Maybe he just ran out of travel points?

havent checked but, seriously that trait exist??

well its the prince of Norway in the early era but im not sure if he has that.

Could you give more info on the battle setup? Maybe it would be wise to add a acreenshot.

Yes. If a character does not move in decades he might get it, and he loses movement points.

well then thats not it because that happend in the first turns

the battle setup isn't so especial just a normal siege with my general behind in 2 lines formation and i will try to take a screenshot later when i have more spare time

I can't say for your case spesipically, but i have noticed that cavalry in groups (the number groups) have trouble following orders. That is basicly all the help i have

Have you checked if the unit you were trying to attack had even one soldier at the walls?

Cavalry unit can't attack infantry unit at the walls, no matter if it is 119 at the streets and 1 at the walls.

i retried the battle and my general attacked this time so i guess you were right. But just a quick question: the same think can happen during a bridge battle? because that was the first time it happens to me but i tough the general just bugged

I have no idea about bridge battles, but I guess it isn't the same.
