    Default The To-Do List

    The To-do List

I generally don't work on things in any particular order though I follow guidelines and goals. Here is a list of what I'll probably be doing and what/when you can probably expect to see updates on. Naturally the list is bound to change over time.

High Priority ( I work on these whenever possible)

    - Put the rest of the heroes in the campaign
    - Put Mercenaries in the campaign
    - Put Wildlife in the campaign
    - Put Ancillaries in the campaign
    - Finish all units and agents

Medium Priority (I work on these when I have free time)

    - Find a way to contact Azog so that Custom UI's work
    - Put Events and Missions in the Campaign
    - Make Strat Map Models for Heroes and Wildlife
    - Finish Buildings
    - Get Custom Settlements to Work
    - Fix Bugs listed in the Bug Thread
    - Add in Rupee Map Resource
    - Finish all Generic Cinematics

Low Priority (I generally don't bother with these until the very end. There are far more important things to do)

    - Finish all Story based Cinematics
    - Hero of Time Campaign
    - Unit Balance
    - Custom Sounds and Music
    - Strategy Guide

I assume putting NPC factions in the campaign is also on the High Priority section?

Hmm, so there will be a strategy guide at the end. That will be interesting to see. Are you doing the cinematics yourself, or is joschiking still helping out in that department? I'll be looking forward to awesome intro and victory cinematics.

West: Foranar- Azurita - The Redeemer - Sinteiria - Sakotae the Guardian (Tavia) - Saleria
    East: Nerise - Kiril

If possible I'd not mind him doing all the generic cinematics such as faction intros, etc. I'll probably be doing everything dialog based though unless he's willing to work in conjunction with me on that.

Did I miss a patch or something then, or are they in but not released?

These are high priority? I better get busy with those threads of mine then!

Does this mean you've finished all the units for the NPCs, like the Subrosian units, or Horon?

I have a suggestion, if you want to hear it.

It might be a good idea to put "Custom Settlements" into the Low Priority catagory and move "Unit Balance" into Medium Priority. Although Custom Settlements in mods are pretty amazing, I am sure most of us who play this mod will be more than happy to keep the standard settlement layouts just with a bit of re-texturing to bring them closer to the appearances of the different races, if it means we have a game that is more balanced sooner. Custom Settlements take an awful lot of time to get right, and although amazing they are often just the icing on top of a very tasty cake. Instead, you could spend that time at a later date, and use time earlier on for improving other, arguably more important, aspects of the mod such as Unit Balance and Bug Fixing.

    Tis just a suggestion though

The thing about unit balance is that it's impossible to fully do until every single unit is done, hence why it's low. It will probably be bumped up to high when every unit is complete. That's generally why I've only done casual balancing: every new unit added to the equation can potentially throw off everything already done so I save it for the end.

That makes sense, and I suppose with Holy Pilgrim doing his balancing that will only make balancing this mod easier in the long run

Will Fado from the Wind Waker be in this mod? Please?

    @UndyingNephilim

So, I seem to remember (I could be wrong of course) that you said you would reveal the mystery factions once the official release came out. Seeing as it has come out, could you tell us the factions?

He said they would be revealed with the final release.

    I suggest you get comfortable

hehe, I'd better get used to my cold-blooded troops having horribly inaccurate catapults, my feathery spell-casters not being able to use Siegeworks, and my ninja-brethren not being able to assassinate (to my knowledge, you can't get master assassins or get more master spies, even if both of your starting spies died)

BTW, this post starts out making me sound kind of like an impatient douche, but I must beg your pardon for that because I can't think of another way to phrase that *coughormaybehimjusttoodamnlazycough*
