The Second Amendment is not about hunting, its about the right of the people to be able to fight agianst their Government should they become Tyrannical.

No, you do not have to download anything. You have 2.5 I am assuming. Just make a proposal with your diplomat, (remember to offer something in return always, even if it's just one denarius), then before clicking make offer, go to the help button "?", click on advisor's "show me how". Then make the offer. And you're done.

What is this "forced diplomacy?" I may need it for my campaign haha

You force the AI to a treaty.
It will not completely submit to all your whims. You may need to give the AI something even if it's minimal.
oooh ok, I want to ally the Cimbri and fight the Averni, I can't expand North if im at war with both of them![]()

What's great about it is that even if you were at war with one of the Cimbri's allies and therefore under normal circustances not able to ally yourself with the Cimbri, force diplomacy overrides that and makes an automatic ceasefire for you with the allies of your new ally. I find that such a slap in the face to whoever was the ally that I was at war. Kind of like saying, my alliance with your ally is more important to both your ally and me, rather than your punnish threats of war.![]()

LOL. A couple of times, I admit to forcing the break of an alliance to advance my own agenda (such as playing Sparta 0-turn, and forcing Rome to accept an alliance (once not bordering the greeks, but still at war), taking the ceasefire between greeks and I, then attacking the greeks which caused rome to break their alliance to them and start taking greek territories (I like fighting rome late game))
What is great about fighting against the AI Rome is that they can trigger the reforms when any one of their cities gets the imperial palace (most likely Roma or Capua, because for some reason the AI likes changing the capital to Capua). So you can face Imperial legions as soon as 30-50 turns depending on difficulty/distance to Rome on the map. I have even faced some auxilia legions as early as 15 turns in when playing as Syracuse.

It was really weird, and awhile ago, so I might be mixing up the actual number of turns. 15-25 maybe
But in Rhegion, the Romans had a whole stack Cohors Italica Volumtarum.![]()

Sounds like super-Rome. Rome is almost always lame in my campaigns until around 570-600. Then they start to expand more. One time they became allies with the Averni... So I used force diplomacy to show them their place.
I was playing on VH/VH so I think that may be why. What campaign to you mostly play when not Rome? If it's any kingdom in the East, you probably won't see them until even later than that.

I play H/H Sparta, Macedon, and Cimbri mostly. A couple of other shorter campaigns hanging around are Carthage and Pergamon.
Nice!![]()
I enjoy playing the Greeks and then having Rome send a naval invasion stack randomly just to 'check things out'.

Details of how to use Force Diplomacy can be found in the '...data\_IMPORTANT_STUFF\Force_Diplomacy_RS_2' folder.
