Default Is there a way to force diplomacy in RS2?

Hey guys, quick question. Is there a way to do force diplomacy? There's mod for forced diplomacy for RS1.5 but I'm not sure if that works with 2.5. Well, just fyi, I just want to keep some factions (who's down to one province) alive but they're too stubborn for peace or even receiving regions! I offer them some regions to survive against the cimbri and they say no. SIGHS. RTW ai is too good...

I'm not completely sure since I never use it but... I do believe that the game comes with the Force Diplomacy mod built in. Simply put up your conditions and demands, then click on the Question Mark button on the scroll, an advisor should appear. Click on her and then you can press ok on the terms. The AI should accept no matter what.

    It does work for 2.5
However you have offer something to the AI for an accept. Like 1 denarius or something. Also I click the ? and show me how button before I make demands. But that's only cause a few times it didn't work.

YES! It is actually already built into the game (2.5 for sure, not sure earlier). To do it:

    1. press ESC and go to options, reset advisor
    2. Next, select a diplomat and engage in diplomacy with a faction
    3. select your terms
    4. click the "?" in the top right hand corner of the diplomacy screen, the advisor will now pop up, and you click on the "help me" button
    5. offer it
    6. it will work

apparently if you do not reset the adviser after each time it will not work, but I have not tested this

There are some limits to it though. I tried once to give terra incognita, the one all the way down in the bottom left corner of the map (when playing rome), to Scthyia. Force diplomacy and everything, and they still didn't accept. I was so upset I declared war on those uptight barbarians.

Details of how to use Force Diplomacy can be found in the '...data\_IMPORTANT_STUFF\Force_Diplomacy_RS_2' folder.
