Overall a great preview EoH. Just need to rework the faces of the last guys specially the eyes. This faction will probably offer an unique experience since it rellies heavily on infantry. + rep!

Warriors of the Iron Islands
Sea Rovers of the Iron Islands
Blacktyde Reapers (they don’t sow).

Ironborn Bowmen
How did you resist making a Pyke Pikemen unit?
Do any of the units throw axes? Because that seems to be quite a big part of their culture. I think a cool ability for the Ironborn would be if all of them* could throw axes before the charge (like the Roman legions in RTW but with axes).
*Okay not all of them but quite a few of them.

Two actually, mounted and dismounted version of the raiders are both Javelin throwers. Axes would indeed be cool, but does that animation work good? I have not seen it in action yet.
Axe throwing unit, "Asha's Chosen", would be epic!

What are greyjoy's weaknesses? will they have a bad economy? because it does seem to me that they are probably one of the strongest factions so far. (P.S loving your previews and all, just would like to know)
Obviously the economy will have some weaknesses, for example there will be one town (Lordsport) i think but otherwise only castles. No major income from farming since they lack fertile land and wait for it..... they do not sow!
Military the cavalry as Dux said, I was surprised to se one cavalry unit so I am more then satisfied with this roster! Javelins will probably be an epic resource when not auto-resolving, kind of makes up for the one archery unit!
At last I only have one complain concerning the ironborn spearmen, kite shields does not fit in well with the rest of the units and the emblems also looks terrible at kite shields compared to the awesome vikinglike shields![]()
The Axethrower animation is just the javelin with a new projectile I think.
its used in third age for the dwarf axe throwers .....
If you add the axe-throwing animation don't make a special unit of ax throwers, add it as throw before charge to units like Ironborn Raiders or Ironborn Warriors.
