Default [SOLVED] DMUC consistently freezes my computer on campaign map

    Hey,

So this mod is incredible and I love it, but I cannot play without my computer freezing. I am playing the ultimate late campaign on normal as the Americans and about 5-10 turns in the game, during my turn only, my computer freezes. This has happened at the end of battles when viewing the units remaining on the campaign map, when selecting/moving/merging an army and sometimes even when i move the camera. First the camera and units will not move, then there will be a click or something and a sound effect loop. I can move my mouse for a few seconds before it stops moving and I have to reboot. Ctrl + Alt + Del does not respond. It has never frozen in a battle, ive logged about 10 hours testing the game (between crashes, also new games seem to make it more turns w/o freezing compared to save games.)
I have all of the TW's except for shogun and they all work great. I also play CoH and BF3 and some steam games, all on ultra. My PC specs are:
    Windows 7 64 bit
    Asus M5A97 mobo
    ^ integrated audio (realtek hd)
    16 Gb ram
    EVGA gtx 560 2gb superclocked
    (computer built in may 2012)
I have tried every fix i can find. Started with the troubleshooting guide, reinstalled DM 6.2 then 7.0+ all following the instructions to the tee****** ---i promise (verified with steam ect..). I have UAC disabled and reinstalled all as administrator.
This did not work so i unistalled DMUC and total war, downloaded the entire game again from Steam. Played the game and it worked fine (although i did not play too long, but it was all in campaign doing whatever i could to bring back any freeze symptoms i was experiencing in DMUC.)
I reinstalled DMUC 6.2 and the 7.0+ patch and played, it froze on multiple attempts.

Then i got serious. I got a registry fixer, new BIOS, reinstalled my graphics card driver, got a new audio driver, reinstalled directx 9 from the game folder, got new C++ runtime, .NET framework, java -- literally everything. I backed up the game, unistalled it, then installed it from the backup. Played, worked fine. Installed 6.2 played for a tiny bit, installed 7.0+ played for a tiny bit, then installed 41.z (think thats the name for the latest beta (dated july 25) --amazing btw the changes are so noticeable) worked for like 10 turns in a new game as the Americans on normal with artillery 2x as the only gameplay change enabled and it froze. Tried to play again, froze. The only noticeable difference was that i could move my mouse for a bit longer before rebooting. I have also tried disabling my onboard sound which also did not work.

    Please help me

*** also i am downloading the torrent now, but the file size is smaller(?) than my previous downloads of 6.2 and 7.0+ so know which is the the most recent most correct least corrupt option may help..

The torrent is just packaged differently from the normal downloads, the end result is the same. It is no more or less corrupt.

couple of questions, I'm assuming it is Ultimate Late Campaign?, is it only the Americans, can you try another faction?

could you also zip one of your saves prior to the CTD/freeze, so I can see if I get the same issue, that way we can eliminate your PC/local issue at least, should help your sanity

Alrighty here it is. This is a guaranteed freeze for me in the next 2 moves. I tabbed out to check if i got the sceenshot when I loaded the save, and it froze when I tabbed back in so i had to take this with my phone :/ you can see my next move with the green arrow, the iroquios move with the blue arrow, and the unit i used to fight them is circled in pink. ( caused the original freeze when they lost and retreated). I just played the battles on ff and sent everyone in to end it real quick, lost both.

The file was 15mb so i had to host it on mediafire sorry
