If I increased campaign difficulty, what would that do? I know how battle diff. works, it gives the AI bonuses in battle. Does campaign diff. give the AI bonuses?

It gives them more money, so you will see that they produce more stacks of soldiers. It will also probably make the AI more agressive, although thats hard to tell with a screw up diplomacy like in Empire
