I dont know if its been discussed anywhere, if it has im sorry.

I was just wondering if the barbarian factions will have buildings that look mainly like Rome 1 Instead of the buildings that are in Med2 Cuz i just think a barbarian town with medieval style buildings and chapels will be very unrealistic.

The EB team has stated before that they will eventually after the 1st release create custom settlements. (Well, that's how I interpret it) The settlements will probably not look like Rome 1 as those were a little too stereotypical and "unrealistic"

If I said anything wrong I hope somebody will correct me, in a polite manner.

The Battle Maps (incl. settlements) Some information on the features of EB2's battle maps: There will be no unique custom battle-maps for cities such as Rome, Athens, Carthage, Persepolis, Babylon, Alexandria etc. for the reasons mentioned in this post. The initial release will not include new non-vanilla buildings. Though out of place buildings such as churches will be removed. Customized EB2 buildings and textures for settlements are intended to be done for later releases though. So eventualy EB2 will feature generic Barbarian, Roman, Hellenic, Nomad etc. settlements. The team is working on new water textures, as mentioned in this tweet and this post.
