Any desire to expand the map of the mod?

I was wondering if the team have any plans to expand the EOR mod to include Western Europe? It will be fun trying to match Justinan's ambition by retaking all the lost Roman provinces in the west.

It's too early to speak about an expension to the west. But our main map as you've seen includes pieces of the territories of Franks and Lombards as well...

No burning desire- East of Rome is, as the name would suggest, primarily focused on the Eastern Mediterranean and Near East.

That said, I'm trying to persuade Deutschland to expand the map southwards so we can include the Kingdom of Himyar, a Jewish faction in AD519. Obviously the call is his!

But Rome total war map (modded) has middle-east at it`s center-not Rome as name says.

Not sure what you mean but...

East of Rome. Our primary focus is the east. But Rome included in the game too, even though the east is the main battlefield.

Let's wait for the mod to be released (Or at least have the map done) before we worry about extending it.

really should include the West, Justinian, conquered the South of Spain, at least include Spain and France!

Cmmon man, they haven't even released it yet and if they start expanding the map, it will take them another 2 years =D IF this will ever see a release.

Justinian's conquests in Spain and France were so minor and inconsequential that I don't see any real reason to waste time on expanding the map that far West. In fact, should our team do that, we would also be forced to not only include France and Spain, but substantial parts of Britain which would involve the necessity of creating a handful of new factions and the eventual - "Why aren't the Saxons included?" question. The map is fine as it is...the game IS called "East of Rome" for a reason))))

I totally agree with Slaytanic and de_Montfort let them release the mod first and play it, else it would never be released. Then suggest expanding the map. Its called EAST OF ROME so its obviously based on the east.

good, but the three walls of Constantinople, will be present in the primary campaign, because the trial version it is not!

Guys, the map of the main campaign will be stretched from the southeast France and the region around Carthage 'till the modern Afghanistan...

Btw, the map of the main campaign has already finished..
