Drummers and fifes

Okay well, i recently bought this game whilst i wait for my better gaming pc to arrive, a very curious part to this game is whether the drummers, flag holders and fife players are actually a part of the game without downloading mods? or is the mod to get more tunes for them to play..? please help me

Yes they are, but the drummers and fifers don't play any national marches unless you get a mod, in NTW the fifers and drummers are so annoying, playing that song, i haven't played NTW for nearly a year yet I still have that song in my head.
