Steam user having trouble downloading

I just tried to download the mod, and I see there's a shortcut linked to it. I click on it, and it says "Windows cannot find kingdoms.exe" and so on. I've tried installing it countless times, but it never appears when I try to launch the game. I've bought the game from steam, and I believe the fact that I got it from Steam may be the reason why I can't figure it out. Advice or assistance would be very appreciated.

Same issue here, support would be good.. I will try to seek a way to fix this.

you have to replace (or rename) one of the kingdoms mods (americas/teutonic/crusades/britannia) to successfully get mods to work with steam... there are guides all over the place for this if you need a step-by-step guide..

if youve done this, and are still having problems, try restarting steam

Sorry don't have steam so cannot test . But a lot of people were able to make it work with mod manager.

I have steam and have no problem with the mod launcher. I will find the link for you.
