We should get the ability to watch random gladiator games.

After we've built a coliseum and recruited gladiators, cause that would be fun. It could activate something like an assassination vid except longer, and near the end, it could stop and give us an option to kill or spare the gladiator(If there's two of them fighting).

Couldn't that just be done with a dilemma like in S2? "Favourite gladiator of the people loses" thing and you can spare or kill him. I'd prefer more videos than one for something like that.

Or if ever they add back the city viewer, you could just see random fightings in the coliseum...

But really that would only be a bonus and, while fun, there are much more things i'd prefer to see before that

knowing CA it'd get boring fast. In STW2 there was what 2 or 3 ninja videos? One thing that bugged me is the target agent would be in your province and was some how also camping with an entire army..?
After you watch them the thrill is over. If I remember correctly there was a lot more videos in the first Shogun.
You'd get 2 or 3 gladiator battles, sure with 2 endings. It'd take a lot time to render them, and the end result would be good for a few viewings. Then maybe they'd release a DLC with more battles.

I also like what alexanderswift said about the dilemma thing.

Perhaps have the ability to patronise a Gladiator and if he wins you gain popularity in Rome or somesuch. Emperors often supported differant types of Gladiator (Trajan preferred the parmularii and Domitian the secutarii) and offered them huge gifts, as Nero and Tiberius did. Of course, many Emperors 'fought' in the Arena themselves (Much to the disgust of the Senate).

City view 100% on this, same with races. More organic to just see things happening around the city over watching a poorly made video that will get old very, very fast.

I'm for City View and even a more "detailed" view. Could really care less about Gladiators. Honestly, never been a fan of Gladiators. Interacting with people from Cities might be asking for too much.

That's probably far too RPGy for Total War, I don't really want CA developing a strategy game down such a tangent.

Sounds awful, dull, repetitive, boring and a waste of time to implement. Id much rather CA spent more time on other more important features.
