Default Best program to use to record

Hey guys, just wanted to get yalls input on the best programto use to recoerd campaigns and such. I currently run fraps but for a 15 minute video holds up 60 Gigs on my Hard drive. I have windows movie maker but it takes forever to compress a 60 gig file and then uploading it to youtuube. Looking for a program that will compress while it is recording and still able to use audio. Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

Never heard of that. You cvould try FRAPS, but that's not free.

Xfore has a pretty decent recording program, although FRAPS is better.

But xfire is free. Can't beat that.

I currently have FRAPS and hate it, I was wondering what would be the best for frames and such, FRAPS kills me

Bandicam is a good alternative i just switched to that from fraps after a 39 min of recording a mount & blade video took up 83gb on my hdd

What resolution are you recording with? Record in 29.97 FPS in FRAPS because if you upload to YouTube it converts to that.

I'd recommend FRAPS, I use it for all of my HD videos and I haven't had a problem with it.

I think the free version comes with a water mark in the top of your screen but that's easily hid with a wide screen video effect, and I think it doesn't have unlimited recording time but you can just hit record right afterwards.

Best of luck, if you have any questions about recording and project settings feel free to send me a PM.
