If not SEGA, then at least Bethesda should buy them.

If only Activision could go back to how it used to be.

I'll accept even Rockstar to buy CA. Rockstar is starting to be a bit nicer to PC players with the amazing graphical features with Max Payne 3 and giving away some stuff on PCgamer.

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't like to see Activision as it is now picking up CA.

£100million investment by SEGA into CA says to me they gonna be controlling TW for many more years to come.

(also says to me that maybe CA should "splash the cash" a little, maybe in the shape of a competition, where the prize is an amazing gaming rig pc and a copy of R2TW Special Limited Edition, along with the entire TW collection thrown in as well )

British minister for Culture; Ed Vaizey described the news as a "great story" for the videogames industry, but made no comment on whether he himself has sacked Carthage, or released a batch of wardogs at unsuspecting Gauls.

Indirectly, the British sacked Carthage by proxy and if they sabotage the EU, that would qualify for the wardogs on the floundering French.

A long, long time ago i used to see RTW "spots" before Time Commanders, and before Shogun2 Release i used to see the same "sponsorship spots" on Warriors and Battles BC on history channel, after each commercial.

Have never actually seen a proper commercial though, only sponsorship slots pre release!

I firmly believe SEGA just gave all it's remaining money to CA to prove the 20 or so people on this thread wrong...

Of course they did, we are the voice of TWC and TWC is the biggest fan site with anywhere from 500 to 2,000 members logged in on any given day at any given time and another 300 to 1,500 guest visitors browsing the forums reading our posts at any given time.

They ARE doing lovely, SEGASammy is a massive company that operates outside of console/PC gaming.
Every division of the company is doing great except the Consumer Division, (software) has not been very profitable, that's why they decided to re-structure that division so they can be more efficient and profitable.

So SEGA was never "in the red", and it wasn't "dying"... This is just hyperbole that websites and forum dwellers talk about because the recent restructure of their consumer division.

The Arcade and Pachinko divisions are healthy and they are basically carrying the company and turning profits overall.

Dare I say Sega is doing better than a lot of Publishers right now.
The above is my opinion which happens to be a fact
