These guys are extremely frustrating to me. I understand that they are elite troops, but they are almost seemingly useless. Their numbers are far too small to make a difference, and even their stats are not as impressive as huscarls. I really only see them as the reason why you can't train huscarls in Wintanceaster.

They do have a useful 'morale-boosting' attribute... Not extremely useful unit, true, but it has its uses.

[One-Eye]

use them as ambuscade and send them where is needed. they are also very useful to run throught fighting units (because their little number) and attack from back.
