Hopefully because something big is under way The way I like to think it, it's that the more time it takes them to release something, to more spectacular this soon to-be-released content will be. And I have faith that EBII will not die out, and the team is not just any dev team, they would let a project the size of EB to be left halfway done.

no way this mod goes down, this is practically the only mod that stretches this far back in time. as far as i know there are no classical era mods that stretch to the west

Well this is my opinion, I'm still working on how to make pikemen better using the threads I posted before as a base.
When EB2 is released I'lll see what I can do.

BTW the units look really good keep up the good work!
That is not really accurate. Pikes are still much stronger in the front than flanks or rear especially compared to RTW. They might not be quite as vulnerable as should be but they also aren't as strong in the front as they should be so overall it works still much better dropping the secondaries.

But they can't keep us waiting that long.

I have severe withdrawal symptoms already. And I don't know how long I can go without...

    This might be it:

Also, you fans of Mediterranean factions always liked how the "barbarian" towns of EB were quite easy conquests didn't you? Just gently roll your battering rams up the walls and gate, knock them over and then hold the breach with your more disciplined forces whilst Celts, Germans, Dacians and more hurled themselves in vain against you, before running them down. Then it was just a gentle stroll to the capture point..... In EBII you had better ensure your men have a bit more stamina.

Thus when the first release comes out you will actually have settlements with buildings from the EBII time frame, rather than Medieval structures. Keep your eyes on the EBII forum for some pictures of his incredible work in the future. It really is great!

Dear fans. I'm a new member of the team (since one week ).

I'm proud to present some small sneak peek of my humble work on this great mod.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

don't pay attention to the trees, this screen was taken 3 weeks ago when testing the beta of the first models on vanilla.

I hope you appreciate this one.
And keep supporting this amazing project!
