You can choose your nation and diff levels...in game.
Choose turns per year and type of campaign in launcher. Then click the button("Grand Campaign","Ultimate Campaign"...) and now type in game your nation.
Thanks WOJOWNIKH, I followed that sequence exactly, but the launcher crashes and I get a Windows error message. I never get to the "type your nation in game" stage.
Has this happened to others, and is there a solution? Thanks!

About Dagestan problem , maybe DarthVader disables the protectorate function for Dagestan diplomacy menu ? It's easy to do it in scripting.lua
Would that stop the AI though? Its all very well disabling a button but...
Though I will say script editing is not my strong point.
I get this crash, it's directly related to the beta files. I just installed version 6.2, then the 7.0 patch, the launcher works from this point, but if I drop the (beta) files into the data folder, the launcher launches the game, but it crashes during the opening loading screen.
Been following this mod forever. A little ashamed I havent been helping out while spending so much time in the forum just reading about it. But at least I cannot emphazice how much this mod does for the game. Great work Darth, Tango and the rest![]()

But I get the same problem as 8.0 - I cannot select a nation, just campaign/turn types, and then it still won't load! This has never happened to me for 7.0. I don't know what is going on here, except that I'm blocked out of DMUC completely!
What did you do differently that enabled your 7.0 launcher to work?

About cannon/howitzer projectiles...
Currently all caliber using the same base-reload, which is a bit odd, as it should take longer to reload a bigger gun, then just to throw in some tiny 6lb round shot ^^
Also, the amount of canister ammo should differ as well.
Everything else -besides the ottoman 1-man-army-spam- is fine and noticed several positive improvement going from 7.2 to a new 8.0 campaign. CAI is quite the aggressor/conqueror ^^ and was also several times involved in a naval invasion *d00h* ! Gladly the CAI uses always the same spot, so I just had to relocate my intercept fleet after reloading the auto-save.
I might be wrong, but the AI naval focus for bigger ships is also improved. (?)
And BAI...yeah you already know this from Shogun![]()

I just found a kinda fun bug I thinkI was playing as Sweden and had conqured Russia and then the Ottomans. Then it was time to deal with the persians and I started fighting them. They were awefully hard to beat (nice!) but thier 8-ib eastern arty (mortar) was weird, they could take
s of fire and then, when there was one guy left and my soldiers who were almost down to 200 men left (in total) charged through the broken wall. Then that lone guy, who had been walking forward a long bit and was not connected to any mortar or anything and just stood there with his sword, fired a quicklime out of nowhere! O_o
Can anyone help me? I'm using version 7.0. When i activate the music add-on my ultimate campaign turns into vainilla.The same happens eith drums an fire.Every time i activate them the game becomes vainilla again. How could I play with this add-on without vainilla¿

DarthMod Empire v8.0 Platinum is finalised and awaits the last fine tuning of its Launcher application, which is the best ever created, thanks to husserlTW.
I will provide soon the full changelog to get only a glimpse of what is added... what you play and currently enjoy has nothing to do with what you will receive, not only because of the many new features but because of the new gameplay and AI which, I dare to say, are better even than newer Total War games (vanilla based).
These are "big words" but I am sure you will not be disappointed.
I leave this thread open so that you can still post but soon everything will be cleared up for the new version of the mod.
