Default The Beatles - Rubber Soul

For those who do read my reviews...

    1965

    Drive My Car
Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)
    You Won't See Me
    Nowhere Man
    Think For Yourself
    The Word
    Michelle

    What Goes On
    Girl
    I'm Looking Through You
    In My Life
    Wait
    If I Needed Someone
    Run For Your Life

Rubber Soul marked the end of the era (for the most part) of their poppy love songs and an advancement in songwriting. The album was heavily influenced by Bob Dylan, to cite the example of Norwegian Wood, the story of an affair with the singer and a mysterious girl. Nowhere Man was the first song by the Beatles to move beyond the subject of romance.
The album achieved major success in the British charts, staying there for 42 weeks.

    Favourite songs:

    Norwegian Wood
    Think For Yourself
    Nowhere Man
    Michelle
    In My Life
    If I Needed Someone
    Run For Your Life

    So there you have it.

    Bumpity, bump.

Just got it. The best are Norwegian Wood, Girl & Think For Yourself.

Definately, though I do like "Nowhere Man" and Michelle (I had it stuck in my head for 3 days straight).

One of my fsvorite Beatle albums.

Favorite songs? Now thats a real tough one here.

In My Life Voted the best song ever by muscians and my personal favorite ever.

Nowhere man. Hes a cute little fuzzball like me. Another of my all time favorites
    Great harmony

Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)
Theres just something about johns voice on this track that grabs me.

In fact I have to stop or Ill be here all night . Every song is one of my favorites other than what goes on.

I mean what can you say about Michelle? Drive My Car?

Man this album really brings back some great memories.
I have nothing against the womens movement. Especially when Im walking behind it.

I used to play Michelle quite often, my mother ended up being annoyed. I suppose she doesn't realise the beauty of the language.
