Damn. Something is not working for me. I patched the game to 1.5 and ran the 5.0 program, but there are no changes in RTW. I have BI installed as well, maybe this is a problem? I also ordered the Gold Edition, but it doesn't seem that should have any effect because I patched the game from 1.3 to 1.5. Do I need to extract files into the RTW directory or something? Thanks a bunch for the help.
Well dont install BI at all, then patch to 1.3-1.5, and then install TE 5.0 then 5.1.
The RTW Gold is already patched 1.5, not sure what the 1.3 patch would do. The TE installer points to the RTW/Data location automatically.Originally Posted by TheBlackPrince

Well, the installation of BI does not affect the proper run of TE5.0, for i have installed both RTW1.5 and BI 1.6, then i install TE5.0, it does work for me!Originally Posted by Hader
Be sure to intall your TE 5.0 into your Data folder, or TE will not function well and you can just have one vanilla RTW!!Originally Posted by TheBlackPrince
Also, make sure you're using the right shortcut. If the install and everything is fine and in the correct paths and everything, try opening the game directly from the .exe in the main folder, not any shortcut.
Actually my RTW does not patch to 1.5. It said version 1.3 on the screen, I checked. Now it says 1.5. Seems strange, thanks again for the help.
Well if you have Gold esdition your RTw is 1.5, thasts what it comes as, and your BI wil be 1.6. You can't patch it anymmore, its a bit pointless to try and do so.

It is probably an older Gold Edition, as I did buy the games used. I will try opening the .exe.

Damn it doesn't work from .exe. This is frustrating since I like RTW and BI, but I just feel like its missing something. Which I was hoping TE would do and I'm sure it would if I could get the damn thing to work.
Well, I hate to say this but,Originally Posted by TheBlackPrince
