I have an Idea on a mod that will be based on the New Kingdom of Egypt I know its to big to do on my own and
I dont really have Any experience but I do have some good ideas and it could be pretty cool.If you are interested please get in

And why are you founding a mod if you have never modded before? Read some tutorials at least. God, way to many mods now a days. It unlikely your going to get much.

Sorry for not being more
specific guys.I was planning on doing a mod on ancient Egypt around the time of the begining of the new kingdom 1576 BC to the end 1070 BC with factions such as Hitties,Kushites and Sea peoples.I know
it would be hard to do since details of that era are a little sketchy but I have a lot of good sources on that time.But I know I cant do it on my own but it with modders of more experience it could be possible.:original:

I think it was actualy aimed at you,

What he means is that mods that are "led" by someone with little or no modding knowledge rarely take off.

As for your mod im guessing by the sound of your idea you will need at least one modeller and there are very few of them around as it is. Mods that completly change the time or venue need a decent number of models. For example Hegemonia changes Rome TW to classical Greece we have had between 2 and 4 modellers at all times. So realisicaly youd need probably the bare minimum of two, to change Rome to fit your timespan.

Exactly what i was saying Rob. Every 3 day a new mod is founded yet most of them just drain the small community amount of modders.

Im simply saying you should join a mod team. Ie Rise of Persia. I think (THINK is the key word) they have an Ancient Egypt faction you could help with

actually i started a mod in this timeframe along time ago, but i killed it because it needed modelers to do it justice.... but i hope to get 3dsmax 8 with my new comp

How about just having egypt and nubia and then having multiple egyptian factions and the nubians?
