Hey do you know the guy who made the RTW ROTK mod? I want to contact one of the modders to have permission to upload a modified download of the RTW Romance of the Three Kingdom, I can upload it and provide for a download site and everything. Although the campaign is buggy as hell, you can still play it for custom battle and all (kind of treat it like a beta). Or a moderator would be fine. Yes I found a way to go around that stupid Trojan horse.

If it is the version with the modified EXE then don't link it here, it's against the Terms of Service to have a cracked EXE. As far as I know (and I have tried) you cannot get the mod to run without it.

When you mean the EXE you mean the Barbarian Invasion Icon changing into Zhang Fei? Cause I had no problem running the mod when I copied and pasted the files into another mod, without the Zhang Fei Icon (I am so sorry for bothering you like this, I just want people to enjoy both RTW and MTW 2 version of this wonderful mod, or at least so people can enjoy a decent custom battle using Chinese troops).

The download I am referring to was a multiple part RAR affair called RomeRTK1.9 and it included a SanGuoTW.exe which was a cracked Alexander.exe

If you have a download version (looks like 1.7, an earlier one) then please check if it contains an exe (application) file - if so, please do not link the download here, otherwise I do not see a problem.

I do have it (1.7, not 1.9 which has a cracked EXE), its just that the download has a Trojan horse, so I am trying to compress like 4.45 worth of GB. Zip folder won't let me compress it there because its racist (it can't read the Chinese letters). So if you can direct me to a good compressing program, I'll be glad to post it up on here or some other thread. It is a full conversion mod, the campaign work as long as you look at the map to see any bug occurs and if you save A LOT, and custom battle to.

That would be GREAT, the only downside would be the fact that it probably won't be compatible with the steam version..

From the look of it, I think that is the one with the cracked exe as it has folders for both BI and ALEX.

I think Gigantus said a few months back that he disabled the voices, so that vanilla voices will be used; vanilla voices are being used in the alpha verison. Not sure if that is permanent or temporary.

The Alex file is there to make personal general looks (like Guan yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun ETC) so it is not the cracked version. The cracked version would have an Alex EXE (the files do not matter for ****).
Make an extra RTW on the steam version(make an RTW ROTK file, and then copy all the data in the RTW file, and paste it in the ROTK file (including the EXE). You might want to try playing offline mode, just to be safe).
If you don't mind, can you give me the link to where you got that 1.7A?

Yeah seems legit, I am pretty sure it's not against the rule to post link site, as long as their not like Cracked exe or piracy.

I am sorry, but the download contains the cracked BI executable - the original size is 15,022KB
It also contains the complete (unpacked) versions of RTW, BI and Alexander
