[SOLVED] Having trouble with Install

I'm getting this error via the install exe.

Darthmod total commander edition has not been totally installed because of the following reason:

data.exe: This file contains invalid data. (Error 11fd)

you will have to run this utility again to completely install darthmod ultimate commander edition.

I've tried to run it again, but it still pops up with the same error. I've uninstalled my Empire Total war three times (I use steam), and reinstalled, but it's still no good. The launcher exe for DMUC isn't created, either, so I can't even run it and see if it works anyways.

Unfortunately this is basically and error in the download, for whatever the reason, the only fix is to download the file again, essentially you could try the options in the thread above, invariably you will need to re-download though

Alright, thanks. I will try and see about doing all of that. From reading over the posts, it seems I'm in the same boat as the other guy. Tried all those things. Let you guys know if I get it workin'.

Double-post, but the issue has been resolved.

I use firefox as my browser, and when I downloaded the installer and the patch, I ran it from the downloads panel on firefox. I did a fresh install of ETW, then checked the integrity of the files through steam, then ran the installer/exe from the downloads folder on my computer (Not through firefox) and it works now. No errors.
