If the Bengals can shut down the run Houston is screwed.

I will see if I can get you a sit down with Elway so he can explain the fundamentals of throwing a football, and why he traded Tebow.

They wont, they cant run the ball, they cant stop the run. They wont be able to take down a defense like the 49ers, if they need to score about 30 to beat the 49ers which they probably would, they wont win. I dont think their offense is superior enough to carry them to the superbowl.

He traded Tebow because he had the opportunity to sign a Hall of Fame quarterback and dump a 10 million dollar project of a guy he doesn't like and didn't want to invest the time and effort into. Peyton gives them the best chance to get the Superbowl over the next 4 seasons, and they have time now to draft a conventional quarterback.

But that's beside the point, because he could clearly play in that offense, he could clearly win in that offense. But hey, there's a special place in hell for morons like me.

I'll leave out the infraction magnet portion of my response that you warrant.

No sense getting that riled up over football. But in all seriousness Tebow's mechanics are just horrible.

I never made the claim otherwise, in fact I'm pretty sure I made that same point in last years thread, that I didn't think Tebow would make it as an NFL QB. But I'm not going to be called a moron because I can point out that he can actually play in a spread/read option.

Call me when they actually win a game.

Oh and why are we still talking about a back-up that might not even be in the NFL in 2 years?

Curse of Minnesota. Does it really matter that much? This was always going to be Adrian Peterson vs GB.

Hate on Ponder all you want, but there aren't that many that are that much better in the League considering he has doo doo to throw to for the most part. Plenty of teams would take Ponder right now over the bag of they have that didn't get into the playoffs.

I just read the article on ESPN. Webb hasn't thrown a pass all year. My guess is the Vikings run all day and if they can't, game over. Maybe Webb gets like 3 attemps at deep routes, I don't see someone who doesn't ever play getting to run any serious passing scheme.

Vikings just fell to super-heavy underdogs with this.

Hey, don't count out Joe Webb. He's got a great arm and exceptional mobility. With the Packers issues stopping the run, he could have a big game.

I'm excited to watch him play. He's not CP7 but he can, and has, won games and show the ability to throw. He also has what Ponder lacks, a top flight arm.

Edit: Yea, I love Ponder, but he can't do THAT.

Clay Matthews: "They're gonna hand the ball off to 28"

Thanks Clay. Vikings should just do option all day long and see if the Packers can stop the run at all. I'm kinda guessing no, but this should be fun.

Edit: Yeah, this is already looking really bad for GB.

They're going to run the GD option all night. And they look unstoppable.

Boy and girls, this is where we see if the read-option is a viable full time NFL offense. I'm looking forward too it, the Packers D is just getting murdered by the run, I think this one might ACTUALLY get ugly for them.

Edit: There's the lack of experience hurting the kid. Has to set his feet better, but the drive did score 3 and take a lot of clock, good all around. Need to do it consistently.
