We don't get another pick till R4 and I am abit worried about our LB gaping hole but other than that GREAT JOB VIKES. You made this fan very happy today.
Edit: Hunter and Woods would not have fallen to us in the 2nd round so double good job Minn.
Edit x 2: Smith to Jets, Te'o to Chargers and Honey Badger to Cards.

Very surprised the Redskins went with David Amerson in the second round and Jordan Reed in the third.
Amerson's likely going to be moved to Safety, though that doesn't mean it's a good choice, because selecting a player who'd primarily as a Safety may have been a better choice, as opposed to transitioning. Didn't even have him on my radar as a potential pick. Then there's Reed, who's a player I don't believe anyone had the Redskins considering, let alone taking. Bleacher Report had him compared to, what do ya know... Fred Davis, who are now teammates. It'll be interesting to see if Reed takes Davis' job if he can't keep his nose clean after the upcoming season.
Redskins still need secondary help. Crossing my fingers they pick a gem in the later rounds.

Da'Rick Rogers BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOI!
High first round talent, (obviously) UDFA head. Hopefully this shrinks his ego some and he stays clean.
But OOOOOMG so happy.

Between those three, Thomas has the most upside right now, Amerson is iffy because of how often he got beat by double-moves last season and needs to work on his game, and Rambo might be a surprise.
Overall, I'd say the 'Skins did an adequate job at addressing their needs.

The knock on Amerson is that he tried to increase his ridiculous INT numbers from his sophomore year and took too many gambles, which didn't pay off. He's a good corner, he just needs to settle down and not get too greedy.

People are ragging on the Bills draft but, other than E.J. I think we did a good job. We had 8 picks and a team stripped to the bone of talent. We added what we could and I am happy with it.

I'm about as happy with this draft than I am with last year's, which is pretty happy.
Took a gamble on a talented tall WR that can learn for Jennings, Moved up 32 picks or so to get him giving up what the 9ers gave up to the cowboys plus another 4 that we had and a 7th but moved up significantly more spots that they did. The good vaule WR picks in the 2nd went mid round so we would have been screwed if we targeted them.
A- imo because we got alot of value.

True, I've heard that from analysts and Amerson himself. If he took fewer risks and cut down on mental errors, there's no reason to think he wouldn't be a great CB someday. Seriously, he'd be an improvement over D. Hall, who always talks a big game but rarely delivers.
Analysts can say what they will, the Redskins got value out of what picks they had, as Amerson (2nd), Thomas (4th), and Jenkins (5th) were once thought to be Round 1-2 talents. The payoff would be well worth it if our late-rounders outperform other team's first-rounders.

I'm not even begin to say anything about any picks beyond the 3rd round. Way too hard of knowing how good they could be or if they'll ever be good. Doesnt matter to me either what some people ranked them to go or if they were once first round talent. Matt Barkley was a no.1 overall pick in mock drafts, but that doesnt mean much now. So I'm not going to talk good or bad about the Vikings later picks, other than if we filled a need by what position they play.
From what I've seen, the Vikes got some pretty good grades, across the board, for the picks they made during the draft. Can't be disappointed with that.
Should Barkley win the starting job in Philly, he best prepare to face a **** load of scrutiny, since that city isn't known for being patient with its athletes.

He doesnt seem like he would be a fit in Chip Kelly's offense.
It doesn't help Barkley's case when, over the past 30 years, being a QB from USC is synonymous with flopping in the NFL. Guess Philly can look forward to another top 10 pick next year.
Chip Kelly will tailor his offense to the talent like he always has.
He ran a completely different offense with Hixon/Masouli/Thomas compared to the one he ran with Mariota last season. People just see the up tempo and the que cards and think it's the same system.

I'm itching to see how Le'Veon Bell performs for the Steelers next season. Hope he wins the starting HB position.
