    Default Creating cost of a Faction

    When I started at this server I made immediately a own faction and it failed.
    I also see that new player mostly do the same thing and then the leave the server because they fail too.

    So my idea is to raise the price to create a faction.

    I think that more people will join existing faction and keep playing.

    It also keeps new players from raiding and trolling, as some factions just declare war and get bored, so they can leave the server afterwards and the (under attack) faction doesnt regain Manpower.

    This will also make the game more ''realistic'', because creating a faction shouldn't be so easy, cheap.

    I hope you guys can give you opinion about this and about a possible price.

    When claimed land appears on the dynmap, this won't be as much of an issue. Small and new factions will be extremely vulnerable, and this alone will be a "price" to creating a faction: its early days will be extremely insecure and dangerous.

    I don't think that will be happening until the TWC gets its plugin though, which is a long way off. Maybe next Summer?

    I do not agree with irelandeb, because this will keep players from playing, because it is hard at the beginning, so we must 'force' them to join bigger faction at the beginning

    Yeah, I don't agree with Irelandeb either, since new and small factions barely can be touched, because as we have seen today, before you know it you have 10 enemies in your base and your waging war all night

    Trying to force people to join factions isn't going to help, it just means that they will more likely play on other servers which don't have these restrictions.

    I literally laughed out loud. Inselburg would agree with your statement.

    We made Inselburg as a faction for IRL friends. That makes us only 4 guys yet, but it's also an incentive itself to stay on the server as we're playing with our friends.

    Your probably safer not claiming any land and building deep underground in the middle of nowhere with a new small faction...

    at the reset, claimed land will be shown at the online map, am I right?
