Help installing a mod.

Can anyone inform me how to install this mod for a steam version of mount and blade WARBAND, as as far as i can work out the warband version is now out, but the instruction on the makers forum make no sense to me.

Yeah, I am pretty sure they stuck to just the original M&B for some reasons that I cannot remember.

i assumed they'd changed it as they'd crossed out an old version with not for war band specifically in the title.Yeah, I am pretty sure they stuck to just the original M&B for some reasons that I cannot remember.
Can anyone suggest to me a really good warband mod that changes the map?

Brytenwalda and Europe 1200 get my vote there. Both are excellent mods.
Also worth checking out, would be the Peloponnesian War mod.

Yes, this mod is not for Warband, as many have pointed out.
HOWEVER, installing mods for this game on steam is pretty easy.
If the game comes with an installer, it should have the correct path already, if not, you'll need to extract the folder (Should be the name of the mod, i.e. mm mod 3 or Diplomacy) that is inside the .rar/.zip to
"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\Common\MountBade\Modules\"
or, if you have a 64-bit pc, "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\Common\MountBlade\Modules\"
