MAARC XXXVIII - WINNERS

Congratulations to our winners!!

Returning strong from a second place finish last time round, The Nowhere Legion, newly renamed the Quinta Macedonica Legio, rises above all to claim victory in these summer Games. Many congratulations to SeniorBatavianHorse who becomes only the third ever owner of a gold medal!

In second place Radzeer returns with another epic in The Wolf Among Dogs. Much bloodshed and treachery awaits in Latin Greece no doubt!

After beating out the medieval English in a fiercely disputed tie-breaker, Knonfoda returns to claim yet another spot on the podium, coming in third with Emperor Julian yet again proving to be the saviour of Rome.

Congratulations to all those who took part! It was an epic contest indeed and it was an honour to win against such esteemed competition! Also, on a personal note, as it was the last time I could enter this AAR now that it is finished, it was an especial honour to be awarded first place!

Congratulations everyone, but especially Knonfoda who fought off some tough competition.

And of course to SBH who has finally got his thoroughly desevred gold medal - and he said the Anthology wasn't for publicity reasons.

And of course Radzeer, a great start to a great AAR.

Well done to everyone this month, all of them were great AARs... now we just have to knock these smug gits of their podiums.

Indeed, a belated congratulations to SBH especially for the gold medal and an epic and deserving end to his AAR. It was one hell of a competition, truly worth participating in!
