Announcement: the Historical Settlements Project and more!

Hello everyone!

Resurrection recently posted that the Historical Settlements Project will be reopened to the public (you can read it here), which means that those interested can apply to help us with the custom battlemaps.

But we mean to do more with the Historical Settlements Project sub-forum than just that. Dominion of the Sword is all about history, and this history is presented for the greatest part by the campaign map. This is where you can help us: we will use the sub-forum to invite everyone to help us research various topics, to give us information to use in the mod.
It will not just be us requesting help, we also invite the public to come and give us ideas and information on anything related to cities, castles, regions and all other aspects of the campaign map. With your assistance we will be able to get things done much faster and as such you will be one step closer to playing Dominion of the Sword.

As you may have guessed by now, I will be the person in charge of this project, both of the campaign map and battlemaps section. So expect most of the requests to come from me, though other members of the team may also call upon your assistance. If there are any questions specific to this project, please send me a PM, or if it's something technically related, contact Resurrection.

The renewed Historical Settlements Project has been launched, please go to the designated sub-forum to contribute, we will be most grateful for every bit of help you guys give us!

In particular, I would be most pleased if you are willing to go here: Campaign Map Research: The Holy Roman Empire, and help me out! What's the catch for you in that? Well, I just might make a preview of it once its done!

I'm sorry to have to announce that the preview will have to be postponed until further notice due to technical issues with campaign map models. Hopefully this will only take a few days to fix, we are working as hard as we can to sort this all out.
