    Actually, Boromir is not that bad guy at all, he has all the virtues a great commander should need, or in this case, a person should need?

    Just because he's your favourite doesn't mean he's just like you! Oh and also, if you only watched the films then think again about Merry, there are many differences from the books to the films, Merry does do some awesome things despite being a fool!
