Great post yesterday on the subject of 'lurkers' Tig, I would add though that I think there are two more reasons that so many people view the AAR's;

1. The AAR board has had a long time to establish itself as the premier writing area of the site, we have a long way to go to get people interested in our CW area.

2. People can associate with AARs, even if they're not an avid reader, people come here and read the AAR's because they are gamers who are familiar with the mods and the factions.

I think all of us as writers in the CW section would be pleased if even a handful of new members joined because of our efforts.

I have found a way around it. I still refuse to go as low as to use the mac's word capabilities, but I will post through the forums and then copy it all when I get my new laptop.
