Thread: House Targaryen sigil?

  1. #1

    Default House Targaryen sigil?

    so I have been trying to find myself a good icon/emblem of house targaryen. what I found were mostly these.

    http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/f/20...d3-d473fzi.jpg
    http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-410lPKLYds...+Targaryen.jpg

    and this:

    my favorite is the third link/picture but as you can see it is really bad in terms of quality.
    is anyone interested in helping me out? Like add a little more quality to it and try to... change it in a way where the dragon is taking a pose that resembles the first link?

    Thanks a lot

    Radbound can you make this very same one but at 100x100 pixels? I need it for some 'smaller' placements without it losing too much detail due to blurring
    thanks!

    @Narf, I didn't make it from scratch . I just removed the background.

    @Toho, You always lose details when you downsize an image. How's this:

    I'd suggest to download GIMP for free from this site for operations like this. Scaling images is very easy (open the image in GIMP, click "Image" and then "Scale Image") so it would save you a lot of effort if you could do that yourself.

    Yeah. On the other hand that will fade out any leftovers of the background if you have cut a render.

    I have this, but when I down sized it too much it lost just so much of its detail. I hoped there was a program better than GIMP for this but alas it seems I was mistaken

    @Randbound, Awesome Thanks.

    When scaling images downwards, use bicubic sharper option, bicubic smoother when scaling it upwards.

    I used bicubic sharper, I think when you compare the scaled image I did with an image scaled in Gimp mine will look better.
