The study you saw was completely wrong.
They didnt calculate how much alchohol a person drink,they calculated how much he produces.
More than 80% of our country's citizens live in villages,and trust me,nobody makes so much wine/vodka like they do.Why you may ask? relatives,friends
You mean to tell me that an average family consumes all the 500L+ of alchohol they produce annualy?
Thats where they made the study wrong

Nope, it measures how much an average person of age of 15 or more in that country consumes alcohol yearly in litres. And as it shows, an average Moldavian consumes 18.22 litres (of which 8.22 is recorded) of alcohol yearly. So there are a lot of drunkards and alcoholics over there.
Well of course if the unrecorded amount is not counted, then Moldavia doesn't occupy the top of the list, and the first place goes to Czech republic.
