Outstanding Mod Congradulations!!!

Hello i recently downloaded the RSII 2.0 torrent and started playing it as Rome. And my jaw nearley fell off.. This mod has some of the best graphics and music in a mod then iv ever played i was inspired on to victory by the music and the great graphics amazing details, huge amount of content and addicting campaign just keeps bringing me back. I know that you guys have done so much hard work for free and that others like me can enjoy ourselves.

So i say well done! you the RSII team have done an amazing job and thank you so much for letting me feel more involved then in any other mod or game!.


10/10 music soundtrack.
9/10 graphics.
10/10 gameplay.

I would advise to upgrade to 2.5 when you can. Be aware that it will break your existing campaigns though.

A whole new trait system, new towns layout, new factions, lots of bug fixes.

But you can still keep on playing your current campaign, and upgrade after you're done.

I also would like to extend my gratitude to the team as well! This is by far the most epic, wonderful, awe-inspiring and historically accurate mod released! The effort put into it by all the different people working on it really pervades each facet--whether on the battlefield, the unit descriptions, or campaign map--these all qualify this is as a crowning, life achievement for any modder/mod team. Even though I am not a modder, I can appreciate a work of beauty. So if I didn't say it yet because of my rant, thank you.

im goig to jump on the bandwagon, RSII has kept me entertained for a VERY long time since RSI and i feel that this is top along with SPQR mod, with both mods being more fun then even EB ever was or anything of its like.

Yes, very well done indeed. There is not alot I can say that has not been said already. This mod is probably the closest you will get to Rome II. I personally know the time and effort it takes to make a mod, but something on this scale must be insane. I am looking forward to 2.6, well done, and good luck.

I can only echo what's above.

It's a terribly well done mod! The graphics sucks me away each time.
I actually tend to lose a lot more men than necessary, just because I wanna zoom in close and watch the action close up. This is terribly well done, a true miracle with a engine which few would've dared think could support a mod which would blow one away like RSII does.

One thing I'd also particularly like to adress as being an awesome feature, is the replay worth of the mod; The work on balance is truely great, and repeating actions you've done in past playthroughs will still see the entire campaign evolve entirely different. That's a huge two thumbs up, one which most other mods can't even get near to!

OK i am gonna use this thread to say that i have a problem of drooling everytime i check RS2 units and Tone textures. This is becoming quite annoying. I dont plan on leaving RS2 until i have check them all out.
On a side note everything its great so again thanks to All the team.

I too would like to thank every guy in the mod who put a great effort to make one of the best mods - if not THE best - of the TW games. After playing since maybe 3 good years (since 1.0), I have to say that you made a master piece.
