Default New Buisness Etc... Due to Reset.

We went through all of the numbers for levies and incomes, everything and saw only one thing that seemed needing change, that one thing was fleet levies as some canon things wouldn't be happening as of 700 BL a prime example being the Redwynes massive fleet.

    Reach - Total Levy 320
    1. The Arbor - Island - Very High Levy - 50 Levy
    2. The Shield Islands - Island - Very High Levy - 50 Levy
    3. Oldtown - Coastal Province - Very High Levy - 50 Levy
    4. The Three Towers - Coastal Province - Very High Levy - 50 Levy
    5. Brightwater Keep - Coastal Province - Medium Levy - 30 Levy
    6. Holy Hall - Coastal Province - Medium Levy - 30 Levy
    7. Blackcrown - Coastal Province - Small Levy - 20 Levy
    8. Old Oak - Coastal Province - Small Levy - 20 Levy
    9. Bandalon - Coastal Province - Very Small Levy - 10 Levy
    10. Sunflower Hall - Coastal Province - Very Small Levy - 10 Levy

    Westerlands - Total Levy 180
    1. Casterly Rock - Coastal Province - Medium Levy - 30 Levy
    2. Fair Isle - Island - High Levy - 40 Levy
    3. Lannisport - Coastal Province - Very High Levy - 50 Levy
    4. Castamere - Coastal Province - Small Levy - 20 Levy
    5. Kayce - Coastal Province - Small Levy - 20 Levy
    6. Tarbeck Hall - Coastal Province - Very Small Levy - 10 Levy
    7. Feastfires - Coastal Province - Very Small Levy - 10 Levy

The Crownlands (provinces redistrubuted) - Total Levy 180
    1. Blackwater Rush - Coastal Province - Small Levy - 20 Levy (formerly KL)
    2. Dragonstone - Island - High Levy - 40 Levy
    3. Claw Island - Island - Medium Levy - 30 Levy
    4. Duskendale - Coastal Province - Medium Levy - 30 Levy
    5. Driftmark - Island - Small Levy - 20 Levy
    6. Rosby - Coastal Province - Small Levy - 20 Levy
    7. Massey's Hook - Coastal Province - Small Levy - 20 Levy

The North - Total Levy 60
    1. Bear Island - Island - Very Small Levy - 10 Levy
    2. Skagos - Island - Very Small Levy - 10 Levy
    3. Flint's Finger - Coastal Province - Very Small Levy - 10 Levy
    4. White Harbor - Coastal Province - Medium Levy - 30 Levy

The Riverlands - Total Levy 80
    1. Seaguard - Coastal Province - Small Levy - 20 Levy
    2. Maidenpool - Coastal Province - Small Levy - 20 Levy
    3. Saltpans - Coastal Province - Small Levy - 20 Levy
    4. Oldstones - Coastal Province - Small Levy - 20 Levy

The Vale - Total Levy 70
    1. The Three Sisters - Island - Medium Levy - 30 Levy
    2. Gulltown - Coastal Province - Small Levy - 20 Levy
    3. Old Anchor - Coastal Province - Small Levy - 20 Levy

These are the only things we thought needed to be changed as it stands. Of course things will be changed as to things that don't exist in this time such as Harrenhall. Besides this all incomes are based more off of things that won't change because of incomes and such. A map will be made very soon (barry might have one) and hopefully we will be off the ground soon.

The Redwyne fleet, I think, is a special case. The Arbor was taken fairly recently, so it stands to reason that their fleet would've been damaged (hence, it's at 50/200 ships). However it can be rebuilt back to full capacity at 200 ships, at a price of 100,000/50 ships (same as a +3 castle or so, I believe).

In any case, the Ironborn still have more ships than both their nearest competitors, the Reach & Westerlands combined do atm (730 total to 290 & 140) so it's also a bit of a balancing issue, more important this time around since we're all independent kingdoms.

EDIT: Oops, saw that I'd failed to add it earlier, my mistake (Internet clogged up & ate my edit lol). I had proposed a special 75-ship levy for the Iron Isles, bringing them up to...
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    1. Blacktyde - Island - Ironborn Levy - 75 Levy
    2. Great Wyk - Island - Ironborn Levy - 75 Levy
    3. Harlaw - Island - Ironborn Levy - 75 Levy
    4. Old Wyk - Island - Ironborn Levy - 75 Levy
    5. Orkmont - Island - Ironborn Levy - 75 Levy
    6. Pyke - Island - Ironborn Levy - 75 Levy
    7. Saltcliffe - Island - Ironborn Levy - 75 Levy
    8. Ten Towers - Island - Ironborn Levy - 75 Levy
...600 ships. Which combined with Bear Island, Fair Isle, Arbor & those Riverland provs, adds up to the 730.

Given that you don't have the Arbor, and are starting in the Highgarden court, 0. We'd have to use the other fleets of the Reach to take it (and its fleet levy) back first.

I believe Dorne should have a few ship levies. Primarily LM, because the Martells are the wealthiest in Dorne.

Perhaps a few for Starfall as well (considering it controls the Torrentine river).

But for LM to have ships is essential. He controls the Eastern coast of Dorne, as well as the Green river.

Ah, yes it would not be sensible to leave warships in the care of the children of the house in a war.

    What about Mermaids Palace?

Mermaids Palace was not thought about as it didn't exist during our discussion. I would suggest that it have maybe 10 ships as mermaids (to my thinking) would prefer to swim than be confined on a sailing ship.

Dorne should have ships yet it is not mentioned as we felt no changes needed to be made. If changes were not made then we did not post them as it would be a waste of broadband (or whatever internet is called )

Basically, children of the forest except they are of the sea. Narf has given us good reasons and enough proof to make it feasible for their to be 'children of the sea' or merpeople.

    What proof is this??

Honestly though, does that mean the plan I discussed with Bjorn and Ulti about a Kingdom of Unicorns is a go then??

    On Skagos that is.

Sorry, Jesse's Puzzlement have been a course to amusement for me the last few days. I have enjoyed myself greatly. Sadly that time is over and you have kindly given him the answer he so wished for.

If you can find proof by anything written by GRRM or another reputable source (aka a book) then I'm up to giving it a shot.

There's proof of Krakens as per the Ironborn belief, all over the books. Therefore I must also have an aux char...

    Todd the Kraken

    Todd attacking an Ironborn settlement,
off the coast of Great Wyk (Circa ~8,000 BL)

    Name: Todd
    Age: 22,970 (born 23,670 BL)
    Titles: Bane of Seafarers
Skills: +2,970 Survival, +2,970 Duel, +2,970 Raiding, +2,970 Field Battles, +2,970 Siege Battles
    Allegiances: None.
Enemies: Landlubbers, & The Mermaid Empire
    Marital Status: None
Children: (that he's admitted to siring)
    The Squid Bastards;
    Steve, 6,930
    Sagemore, 6,820
    Samuel, 1,440

    Biography:
Todd has been wrecking ships along the Western coast of Westeros for thousands of years. He has an unknown number of Kraken bastards, and is featured on such sigil's as House Greyjoy. He is mystical within Ironborn lore.

The total number of ships Todd has destroyed is uncertain, however, it is believed he has destroyed between 115,000-270,000 ships within his 22,000 years of sneaky uncling them. He prefers to hunt at night. The Ironborn are aware of this, and prefer to be as close to land as possible when nightfall comes.

That would be fine, but Krakans are a force to be feared and are totally unpredictable. Just making a character as one would mean you were taming one. A kraken is a force upon itself that flows with the current and only attacks when it wants to. An impossible character to play as because it is basically a beast with low intelligence.

No I certainly am not. I was just embarassed to present my idea for the new RPG until now. Considering we are in a still magic era, with Valyrians, perhaps vestiges of Children of the Forest remaining north of the wall. The Ironborn like to drink, but perhaps they are actually serious?

I'd like this incorporated as a 7th char (particularly an aux, as Todd has no affiliation with House Dayne)

Assumptions. Don't control how I roleplay. You know not of Krakens, Jon Snow. It is up in the air as we discussed, 99% of <Aegon's Landing is imaginary. And I just said, nobody tames him, he's a free spirit off the Western coasts. I think Peri might be annoyed, because Todd has returned from the distant ocean of the far West, where he raided the Candycane Kingdom for sever hundred years. Now he's back to Westeros.

It would be a good idea but Todd wouldn't work as a krakan is a force none can control (unless you're an uber god of the greeks named Hades) and even then you just kind of point it in the right direction and hope that nothing you care for gets destroyed.
