And Becky is? Sorry I haven't followed the dairies or info on the team for half a decade.
That said I approve of Becky.
Can't wait for this game, I'll burn Carthage fifty thousand more times!

Today, I found these screens, here I put what features appear to be new or confirmed.
Say what you see new!
-destroyable assault tower
-deployable fences ?
-lines of battle on the left side? third line is archers...
-falcatas, hoplom, lances, roman officers, helmets, armour
-there seem to be many different faces, more detailled, the man on the left has a beard.
- war paints for elephants
-we can see that the roman lines are advancing with their shields onto their head.
- roman cavalry or mercenaries with their weapons on their back
- one thing I am wondering about: still no ladders for the assault troops...
-we can clearly see crew on the ships that are coming by the canal.

Looks good. I dont think they have ambient occulsion applied, probably look even better.
I can see those siege fortification like being used by cesar against vercingetorix.
Don't argue with idiots. They only take you down to their level,
to beat you there with experience.
Ever wanted to be able to attack the city of rome the second turn
when playing a roman faction yourself in RTW?
then click here
Holy crap that looks good !!! It's just so damn beautiful !! My computer is literally going to die when I make it run this...
I will however admit that it looks kind of weird that the principes aren't wearing belts, especially with the mail being so fitted round their middle.

Glad to see they got the shields more accurate this time round - I notice that they haven't opted for the "Praetorian Guardsman/14th Legion" design on the Roman shields.
I also like the kopis the Carthaginians appear to be holding (or are they falcatas?) - either way the historical attention to detail in those matters seems to have been improved from the 1st game.
Keep it up CA; look forward to seeing more!
Creator of the RTW overhaul "Ab Urbe Condita" (v2)
tut tut, leaving units sat infront of archers/towers...amateurs
Now I see how great the game is going to be. Although I am having some thoughts about those screenshots.
Pic 1 - Are those stakes, ditch-bridge and wooden walls going to be constructable? I am very much excited about this.
Pic 2 - That's how the videos of RTW were showing years ago. And that's how a TW shall be! We can see the new soldier expressions here. Simply brilliant.
Pic 3 - The flaming arrow effects are very nice. The siege towers look good, but can use some more random elements, like more shapes of leather cover. See, soldiers are putting their shields up against arrows.
Pic 4 - Harbour of Carthage looks even better from here. That ship is sailing in the channel, and looks very nice. Roman army looks quite realistic here compared to old pre-Marian armies of RTW.
Well that looks really nice.
Also for added features, it appears men are loaded onto siege towers before they reach the walls.
Check out my YouTube videos!
Awesome units standards! ... oh wait there are none
These seem to have less of that yellowish look and they look a lot better. Plus it looks like the romans have some wooden defences set up which is cool especially if the guys being sieged launch a counterattack.
The walls look awesome and the archer towers look placed closer together which should make it so you cant just avoid them.
I don't see much faction colors either, shure the romans are still red and the carthaginians are still white, but not nearly as bright red/white as in the original RTW
Well technically speaking the oval scutum ought not to have back bracing on it, as the only one found archaeologicaly lacks them. Also wonder why legionays ought to be wearing belts, not the highly decorated ones of the latter periods but a simple leather one at this stage.
