Looking at the screenshot, I saw that this is indeed the case, thank you. Now I'm seeing more of the Clone 'normal' (if 'normal' means 'half-naked' for Germanic tribes ) axemen, mailed-and-helmeted swordsmen, and some what may be 'normal' swordsmen (or more appropriately 'daggermen' judging by the length of their weapons) who DO wear shirts but no armor, so it actually must be THREE units in the first screenshot. There's a "Noble Swordsman" guy in the distant upper right corner with some extra lighting on him who must be standing on a rock which I also noted just now.

I don't know if by "clone" he meant that they look-alike as much as he did their lack of emotion. That's what I noticed after all this talk about bringing the emotions of the soldier to the battle. Nevertheless, I understand it's still too early to say anything so I digress.

Quickly too because those will probably be taken down since they look to be scans.

    Great! I'm spanish :p

EDIT:I will tell what's going on in each scan:
1-They talk about the tactic view and the fact that the enemy units won't be visible on the minimap until your troops can see them, they also say that the enemy will never appear on the minimap if you are playing at maximum difficulty.
2-Just that war-dogs will cause a massacre in the Teutoburg forest battle.
3-They talk about the three special characters of the campaign map, the officer, the priest and the scout/spy.

    On agents, a paraphrase:

Officials, priests and scouts / spies form the basic types of special character, devoting their skills to areas of diplomacy, religion and secret missions. These character classes will depend on each faction's final form. Each faction's agents will have specific skills; for example, a Greek priest will be different to a Roman priest.

Look like mastiffs to me. According to wikipedia the breed started as a Roman War Dog.

Because they are historically accurate. I am glad, they didn't listen to the whiners and added them. ^^

Sure they're historically accurate. Just not in large groups like in RTW.

The ancient breed that served the armies of ancient Greece and Rome was the Molossus. They were described as having a wide, short muzzle. The Romans sent whole attack formations of the dogs - fitted with spiked collars and armor - into battle with tigers, lions, elephants, and men. Although the breed no longer exists, a Roman sculpture on display at the British Museum is generally thought to represent a Molossus.

This sounds like the dog depicted - but here we see it used by the German tribes, rather than by the Romans...perhaps Arminius learnt a trick or two about the usefulness of these malicious mutts while in the Eternal City?

I find it hard to believe that Romans or any country sent large formations of dogs at an enemy. And if they did it probably was very rare.
